Cloudy Wednesday morning....

It's a cloudy Wednesday morning in Frankfurt city. I am sitting infront of the computer having my english breakfast tea. Right now I can only have warm drinks cause I am getting a lil sick. Maybe it's because I am working too much or not doing enough. Who knows!

Anways, I miss my german class today due to my fever and cold. Not even sure if you can have both but I think I have them both. (Sucks to be me right now) Even though I am sick, I still have to work later until 11pm. That's even worse. So I'm just sitting around resting and trying to save up my energy for work later.

From the past few weeks, I have been really busy with work. This week I am working 6 freakin days. The Germans are turning me into a slave. How kinky. hmm not really and definitely not in the condition that I'm in right now. In the next 3 weeks I am going to Cologne, Germany. It's only 2 hours away by train and I've heard alot of fun and exciting things about the city so I'm pretty excited to go there. I also got my holidays from work. Ugh thank gah! So my first Christmas in Deutschland will be spent in Dresden with my Honey's family. Before I go there, we are also planning to go to the South where it's a little bit warmer. We haven't really had any summer in Frankfurt. If we did it would last for a day or two not that whole season. I was expecting people in their bathing suits when its sunny here but I never saw one. People are shy I guess. Most of them are so skinny, I don't understand....hmmmmm..

Well I bought this nice little bathing suit from Aussiebum that I haven't worn since July. I was planning to wear it here but it hasn't been really that hot. Scheize! So I am waiting til I go to the south, where? I don't know yet.

Being a German is all about the planning. I am already planning my holidays next year. OMG, everyone takes their holiday and then you have no space left so its like a racing game. First come first serve. I really wanna go back to Vancouver but I also wanna see Europe. I am so torn between the two. Maybe it'll come in the next month or so.

Besides the planning, I do try to have fun. We went hiking last Sunday in the mountain. It was fun, we ended up in this little city called......fuck I forgot what it's called. Anyway, we visited a castle and ate our lunch on top of the tower. That was cute. After that we hiked some more and I discovered that I am really getting old. I couldn't even hike uphill for five minutes straight without having to sit down and rest. Holly crap! I am really out of shape. After that second part of our hike, we went to the train station and there was this cute little restaurant beside it. We decided to have a little something to eat there. The food was soo good, we wanted to order some more. But we only had 30 minutes then our train arrives. So now we want to go back there and hike a different trail so we can eat other food in that restaurant next time.

In Frankfurt, there are so many festivals going on in every city. So it's always fun to go for a walk and you never know where you end up cause theres always something going on here. The best part of it is that you can drink outside. Theres music, games, rides, shopping, and alcohol. Where I live like two minutes away a street called Zeil. That street is the shopping centre of Frankfurt. It is always busy, soo busy that it'll take you so long to get to the other side. So if you were in a rush, you will be late. Go there if you have time.

I thought before I moved here that shopping was going to be easier for me but it's not. I also thought that shopping in Vancouver is too expensive and that it will be cheaper in Germany, but it's not. I haven't really shopped here that much, only when it's needed. I can count how many piece of clothing I have bought. When I was in Vancouver, I couldn't....sad.

Well, my cup of tea is getting cold. Until my next cup of tea again. Tschüss!

Busy Friday

I have officially become a housewife. Today is my day off and I have so much things to do. My alarm clock was set for eight pm. It's now almost 9 so I'm just slacking off for an hour to prepare myself for the rushhour.

I have 3 friends coming over for dinner today and I am cooking. I know OMG can you believe that I'm doing the cooking. Since I've been here, I've learned how and I like it. I've been doing most of the cooking in the house and so far so good, it's always gone. So today I'm cooking for four. Not until 3 pm.

Before then, I have to clean my apartment, vacuum the floor, do laundry, fold and iron shirts and then pretty myself up. I have to go buy groceries for my dinner tonight. Cook for maybe 2-3 hours max. Call the school to set up my classes, yeah I'm going back to language school. If I have any time left for myself, I'm gonna buy myself something, I don't know yet. Thats if I have time left.

Asian girl with blonde streaks and blue eyes?

Ugh, sooo annoying! I was facebooking today after I got home from work. I made dinner, fold the laundry and sat down to check my facebook. I was looking at people, people I haven't seen for a long time and such, you know. As I was browsing through my friends list album, I saw this girl I used to know from High School. I like her but this picture of her made me disliked her.

I hate it when asians wear blue contact lenses with blonde streaks. Ugh, sooo ugly and it annoys the hell outta me. It's soo unnatural and fake. I mean, we all know asians don't have blonde hair and blue eyes, unless you're a halfie. Gaaaahd!!!! Shes soo ugly. The worse part of it is, it's all her face up close with her stupid blue contact lenses. And then, someone commented on it. He said, wow soo pretty...Aaaargh, another idiot!

It makes me want to delete her off my list cause its sooo embarrassing.!

The birds, rodents and the Germans

The first time I was late for work today. My alarm didn't go off and of course its never my fault. So I was half an hour late, got ready fast and took the bike to work. Yes, a bicycle! Jens gave me a bicycle, its not the best but its cute. It's white with a pink stripe, it suits me. hehehe. Anyway, it was the first time I ever rode the bike in public to go somewhere. It's crazy because, there's a bike lane here. I still don't know it cause sometimes it just ends but then its on the otherside without me knowing it. OMG surprise! So many things to watch out for if you're riding a bike here. First you have to watch for the pedestrians, then the cars, other cyclers, the traffic lights and the pigeons. That's right the fuckin pigeons. They are everywhere and they take their damn ass time to fly and walk around like they're humans. They fly whenever and anytime they like. Sometime they just fly over your shoulder when you least expected.

Besides the pigeons, there are other things or I should say living things. One morning on my first opening for work. I woke up at 4am to go to work for 6 am. Yeah I know it's early but I have a long walk and I need to get ready and I like to take my time getting ready. So, as I walk out of my building I turned left and ran into a mouse. A freakin' mouse walked into me. Well it hit my shoe and I almost screamed. Luckily, I held my mouth first and just kinda jumped around to get away from it. But the stupid thing was also trying to wake up I guess cause it is really early too for them. So that woke me up big time. So I ran away as far as I could from it. After that, I decided to walk in the middle of the road instead, since there's no car first thing in the morning. While I was walking, I noticed that there's little things moving on the ground mostly on the side of the road and by the trees or bushes and under tables from patios. I looked closer and they are all mices. OMG, there's a festival of mice in the morning. Unbelievable!!!!!! I was so afraid to walk on the sidewalk cause why, shit the rodents took over it. It's theirs when we're all sleeping but this time it's one human being against hundreds of them. I lost the battle so I got what is left.

Oh my lord! Besides the rodents and the birds, there's the germans. The germans are also difficult. It is soo different here when it comes to people. Most people are so narrow minded, they only see one thing. I've heard so many things from people here who are not germans and they all say and experienced the same thing. I know my german is like that but at least my german is trying to change. There's so many things that are fun here and cool but at the same time, so many things doesnt make sense either. I won't go into any details cause it will go on forever. Oh, and people here work like slaves. OMG. They just stay at work and it seems like work is their life...Fuck that, not for me. I go home after work and enjoy my life. hell!

Sex in the city

Friday afternoon, I just got home from work. I didn't know what to do or who to talk to. I couldn't even decide if I should eat something or not. So I turn to my only friend in Germany since day one. Sex in the City. Yes thats right. It's been there for me to make me laugh and cry. Whenever I was feeling sad, I just sit in the living alone and watch a season and everything is back to normal.

So I was watching Season 6, disc 3 on the last episode when Charlotte got married. It is the funniest episode so far. It is the most fucked up wedding but yet it's the best. How inspirational is that. Call me crazy and yes I have watching too much but you're crazy too if you can't relate to a life like that.

Anyway, I had a great laugh alone and it was a great time. hehehe....still laughing. You should go and watch it......!

I hate Tom Cruise

It's 8 o'clock in the morning and I'm talking to my friend on the phone. He tells me to go online to check out some guy. So I go online. Turns on the computer. Click on explorer and window opens. The first picture I see on a big ass box, fuckin' Tom Cruise. UGH! I hate Tom Cruise. He's so weird. Ugh, I just hate him......gaaaah and I don't wanna go through all the reasons cause theres too many....
